The 75-Day Engineering Protocol
In my last post, I talked about the trap of "Resource Hoarding" and the "How" of my daily routine. I claimed that a roadmap is just a map, and we need a routine to drive us down the road. But let’s be honest. A routine is easy to write down. It is much harder to follow when motivation fades, when the code breaks, or when you just feel tired.
Knowing what to do is not the problem. Doing it every single day is the problem.
I realized that to bridge the gap between "Aspiring Student" and "Top 1% Engineer," I didn't just need a schedule. I needed a forcing function.
Most people know "75 Hard" as a physical toughness challenge. It builds an unbreakable body. But as I enter this next phase of my journey, I realized I didn't just need physical toughness—I needed Intellectual Callousness. I need the mental stamina to sit through 6 hours of deep work. I need the resilience to fail a LeetCode problem and try again tomorrow.
So, I am starting The 75-Day Engineering Protocol.
Why Document It? I was going to do the work anyway. Whether I post about it or not, the code still needs to be written, the books need to be read, and the weights need to be lifted. So why document it? Why add the friction of filming and writing to an already brutal schedule?
1. Visibility is a Forcing Function. Let’s be honest—it is easy to quit when no one is watching. If I study in private and skip a day, nobody knows but me. It’s easy to lie to myself. But when I build in public, I create a social contract.
2. The Digital Diet. There is a simple rule in life: The content you consume is the content you become. If you scroll through brain-rot, you become stagnant. If you scroll through discipline, you become dangerous.
3. I Am Not Your Guru. Do not consume my content for entertainment. Do not watch me to feel productive. Watch me as a reminder. I am simply evidence. Evidence that if I can handle 4 blocks of deep work and a gym session in a single day, so can you.
And if you can... why don't you?
The Rules for the next 75 days, I am living by 5 non-negotiable rules.
4 Blocks of Deep Work (6 Hours)
The Logic: Shallow work is useless. I will work in four 90-minute blocks covering DSA, Backend Theory/ Fundamental Concepts, Java Backend Development, and Project Implementation.
The Standard: No phone. No social media. Just the IDE and the documentation.
2 LeetCode Problems (Analysis > Volume)
The Logic: I’m not chasing numbers. I am chasing patterns.
The Standard: Solve one problem. If I fail, analyze the solution until I can explain it to a 5-year-old.
The Evidence Engine (Daily Log)
The Logic: If I don't document it, I didn't learn it.
The Standard: I will post a public "Daily Log" on my Instagram Story every single night. This is my proof of work.
45 Minutes of Physical Activity (The System Boot)
The Logic: You cannot run high-load processes on a cold server.
The Standard: 7:00 AM Sharp. Heavy Lifting. I win the morning physically so I can dominate the day mentally.
5 Pages of Reading (Mindset)
The Logic: Input determines output.
The Standard: Non-fiction only. Currently reading: Atomic Habits.
A Twist : This is the "Hard" part. If I miss a Block? Reset to Day 01. If I skip the Gym? Reset to Day 01. If I forget to post the Log? Reset to Day 01.
Day 001 starts now. I am not asking you to cheer for me. I am asking you to watch the evidence.
